ARRIVALS, DEPARTURES & VISA REQUIREMENTS

Arrival by Air:
The official airport is Turin - Caselle Airport (TRN), which is situated 82 km from Saluzzo. Upon arrival at the airport, the teams will be met by volunteers. After collecting the luggage, team members will be escorted to the official buses and taken to Saluzzo, approximately 75’ drive from the airport. 
If your team will arrive to a different airport then please discuss this with the race organization in order to arrange an alternative shuttle transfer. If there is an additional cost due to the airport being further distance away from Saluzzo then the difference in cost will need to be paid by the team. 
  
Arrival by train:
Transfers can also be organized from the local train station in Savigliano, which is a 20’ ride from Saluzzo city centre and the accommodation sites provided.
  
Arrival by road:
From Turin, drive southwards following indications towards Cuneo. Most recommended using a satellite car navigation system, being Saluzzo’s city centre coordinates: 44.64523203299284, 7.487692490214026.
Teams arriving by car or bus are kindly asked to go directly to Saluzzo, to the Race Office where representatives from the LOC will welcome them at the race village located at Caserma Mario Musso, Piazza Montebello,1.

Countries requiring visas to enter Italy should obtain them from the Italian Embassy or Consulate in their country. If these federations need support to get their visas, they should contact FIDAL at mauro.decarli@fidal.it giving the names of the people, their first name, date of birth, sex, passport number (and expiry date). Holders of Schengen valid multiple entry visas can freely enter Italy without an additional Italian visa.
  
Suitable travel insurance is recommended covering travel, sport activities as well as any disruption for the travelling individual due to Covid-19. 
  
Departures:
Return to Airport: Transport will be arranged according to the flight/train schedules submitted by the teams. Further information will be available at the Info Centre located in the race village.
Departure is scheduled for all the teams on Monday 27th. 
Departure data should be confirmed by the team manager on arrival at the time of accreditation but no later then 48hours before departure.
