A ring itinerary with views dominated by the steep walls of the Castello – Provençal group.
Leaving from the Base Camp Mountain Hut of Acceglio, you go towards Grangia Agnelli, Colle Greguri, Granage Rivero, Grange Collet and Grange Ciarviera. The path winds through broad prairies, with interesting views over Rocca Castello, landmark of the upper Maira Valley and over the waterfall of Stroppia. The climb is around 700 metres (a maximum height of 2319 m); it takes around 4 hours to complete and the level of difficulty is E. The route is marked with white and red indicator notches.
