L’Auto Vallonasso is located in the deep side valley of the Enchiausa which starts just upstream of Viviere, in the Unerzio Gorge. The landscape becomes immediately wild, in the presence of the north wall of M. Oronaye (3100 m). The spring snow is a must to enjoy the steep and sunny slopes in complete safety. A foothold along the route is the Valmaggia Bivouac. An alternative for the most trained is the loop hike of Auto Vallonasso passing by the Col of Enchiausa and Colletto: harsh environments of rare beauty.
