Bellino (CN)

Bric Rutund is the ideal trip for early season or after a snowfall. It does not present any technical difficulties and consists of safe slopes, on which no historical avalanches have been reported. It starts from the characteristic “Ponte Pelvo”, a stone arch bridge, before the Melezè plain, at the end of the Bellino valley. It consists of a constant ascent among the larches, which then ends on the shoulder from where you can enjoy a magnificent view over Monviso. The last meters to reach the summit are steeper and you end up in the presence of Pelvo d’Elva. The descent is on the slopes upstream of the larch forest or in the woods, depending on the snow conditions.
