Information
The icefall is clearly visible from the state road, on the left, just before reaching the hamlet of Maddalena on the north-facing slope. Once you have parked the car near the junction to Ussolo, continue on foot, reaching the river Maira which can easily be crossed over a bridge and makes it possible to reach the location (10 minutes from the village). The place remains in the shade during the whole winter season. A single pitch (60 m ropes) allows you to reach a belay station on the left tree before the exit.
