This is one of the most beautiful icefalls in the valley and, despite its modest altitude, is almost always formed and clearly visible from the road, on the orographic right of the Maira stream, just beyond the village of Bassura di Stroppo. The approach is easy by walk (10 min) and the absence of real dangers makes it a very popular destination even if the development of the climb is limited (70 m). The exit is hard; once the last difficulties are overcome, you descend on double-rope on plants.
