Lakes of Roburent

Colle della Maddalena, Argentera (CN)

One of the symbolic hikes in the Occitan valleys, here in the winter version. It goes up the Oronaye valley, in a grand and immense environment. The silence and brightness of the winter mountains accompany the ascent to the Col of Roburent, a road used in the past by migrants and smugglers, a silent witness of the alpine history of south-western Piedmont. Once you reach the col, you can perceive the lake covered with snow a little lower, a real fairy-tale picture.
