Crissolo (CN)
Route in a severe environment, arriving at Lake Chiaretto, completely frozen in winter and covered by snow at the foot of the impressive north face of Monviso. It starts from Pian della Regina, following the first stretch on the beaten track, to get into the valley dei Quarti leading to Lake Chiaretto with a regular climb. You arrive at the base of the snowy gullies of the Monviso group: Due Dita e Cadreghe di Viso on the right, Viso Mozzo on the left and Coolidge in front of you, which is visible as far as the 3841 metres of the summit.
