The “cycle class” of the 3 passes and its 3.340 m of positive elevation is an alternative route of 124 km to the border route. The flagship of the Ubaye Valley, the so-called “Three passes”, also known as “cycle class”! has been taking place every summer for 37 years. Challenge yourself with this non-competitive route that is open to everyone! Firstly, its 3.340 m drop makes it ideal for the most well-trained cyclists. Secondly, it extends over a very famous section of the Tour de France, which was won by Thévenet over Mercks in Pra Loup, in 1975. An ideal playing field situated among Haute-Provence, Verdon and Var, to challenge one self in the best climbing conditions.
