Bellino (CN)
The two most impressive icefalls, which are visible at the bottom of Ceiol Plain, are Limo Nero (far right) and Black Marasma. Beautiful climbs to do during lasting cold periods and lack of snow cover: they are exposed to the East and on the slope upstream are frequent accumulations of snow carried by the wind. The long approach transforms these icefalls in mountaineering climbs and makes the day fulfilling. For the descent we recommend the double-rope descents on Limo Nero. The waterfalls complete the amphitheatre of Pian Ceiol: Ciabriera, Canalino del Ceiol and Azzurra.
