Oncino (CN)
At the top of the side valley of Oncino, a beautiful basin opens up around the hamlet of Meire Bigorie. This is the perfect place to try snowshoes for the first time and is perfect for a day on the snow with the whole family. The basin is surrounded by the peaks Cervetto or Nonna (Grandma), Crosa and Risciassa, with Monviso peeping in the distance. You can do a loop hike of the plain, returning from the beautiful stone bridge, favourite setting for those who want to photograph the Stone King from this side.
