Acceglio (CN)
The climb to Mount Cappel is along sunny and wide slopes to the ruins of ancient shepherds’ granges. The ascent is constant and offers an overview that goes from the Traversiera valley to the Unerzio Gorge, from the peaks of the upper valley to the 3100 m of Mount Oronaye. Once you reach the col at an altitude of 2340 m above sea level on the divide between Acceglio and Prazzo, the view opens to the steep slopes of Mount Ruissas, while looking out of the ridge, you have an exceptional overview of the plain.
