The ski mountaineering to Punta Ostanetta takes place on open moderate sloping areas. However, it represents a destination of great remuneration in terms of landscape: the slopes on the opposite side of the summit descend steeply towards the Valle Infernotto and the plain of Barge, in which you can have a glimpse at the Rocca di Cavour. In the same direction, you can see the Cistercian monastery of Pra d ‘Mill while, once again, the massive pyramid of Monviso looms over your shoulders.
