3 BIS – VARIANTE SOFT
A short stretch leading to the 1 Bis allows you to cross the middle and lower Maira valley along a pretty road that rewards your efforts with unexpected glimpses of villages perched on mountain slopes and ancient parish churches dotted along mule tracks until you reach the entrance to the valley by medieval Dronero: a small town whose lanes, squares, porticoes and crenellated bridge are all worth exploring.
