A particularly rewarding excursion for experienced ski mountaineers to do in late spring, when it is possible to reach the Prati del Pian del Vallone Hut by car; you climb along very steep and always snow-covered slopes through the Passo del Laus (Laus pass), you will find barracks and remains of the fortifications of the Western alpine Wall. The environment is wild and has a very special charm: from the top you can enjoy a unique view, perhaps the most exciting on the peaks of the upper valley.
