A short and easy loop hike for families with children and beginners. The easy route, with short ascent and descent phases, winds around the hill of the castle of Montemale. Very panoramic, with a view of Monviso, the Cuneo plain, the Maritime and Ligurian Alps, you can discover the truffles of Montemale, meet a dreadful “dragon” among lush chestnut woods. From the parking lot of the cemetery of Montemale, it is sufficient to go down a few meters and take the track on the left: the tour is signposted and well maintained.
