2 BIS – VARIANTE SOFT
A long downhill stretch descends from the 2370 metres above sea level of Colle Esischie across high- altitude pastures that are famous for producing Castelmagno – the traditional cheese that was awarded PDO (Protected Designation of Origin) certification in 1996 – and reaches the church of San Magno in Castelmagno, which attracts hordes of pilgrims and tourists every year. Impressive stretches through rocky canyons lead to the Grana Valley floor where, near Valgrana, you can take the easy 1 Bis route.
