Sampeyre (CN)
One of the most popular trips in the Varaita Valley, thanks to the guarantee of finding a good snow cover on the slopes in the lower half of the route. You start from the Sodani hamlet, keeping the path traced by the side track as far as Meira Garneri Hut (also recommended for night ascents). You enter a gully that leads to the ridge. You arrive on a col and then on the peak, on the watershed with the Maira valley. In the same area there are also the beautiful trips to Mount Nebin and to the Lubin peak, ideal in powder snow conditions.
