Castelmagno (CN)
It is certainly the most classic, well-fed and evocative icefall in the Grana valley. From the first avalanche barrier after the village of Campomolino, go down to Lower Neirone hamlet, then follow the path which brings to the crossing of the river Grana to easily reach the base of the icefall (20 min). It starts immediately at the base of the river and in three pitches, after an easy start, then immediately much more technical (70-75°), you reach the exit.
