Costa Chiggia is perhaps one of the best-known winter outdoor itineraries in Maira Valley. Its genuine and various natural environment have determined its success: the larch wood that hides the small church of San Teodoro, the stone granges which are scattered further up where the vegetation becomes more sparse and, above all, the amazing view you have from the summit. The peak, in a mid-valley position, offers a 360° panoramic view that goes from Monviso to the valley floor, from the border ridges of the Varaita valley to those of the Grana.
