Ski mountaineering in Bric Boscasso is one of the most popular winter destinations in the Maira Valley. The Northern exposure of the slopes and the dense larch wood guarantee powder snow for long periods, while the moderate gradients make it a trip also suitable for beginners. The silent village of Pratorotondo, uninhabited in winter, welcomes ski mountaineers along the ascent upriver of the Unerzio stream from Chialvetta.
