Demonte (CN)
A very popular excursion starting from Bergemolo, a small hamlet overlooking Demonte. In the first part of the climb, you progressively leave the village behind that slowly disappears to leave space for the solitude of the boundless meadows. Once you reach the summit, you can feel you are in the heart of the most severe and isolated mountains of the Maritime Alps, with the superlative peaks of the Argentera, Corno Stella and Mount Matto. A unique, “wild”, unexplored and solitary environment.
