Acceglio (CN)
The Col of the Ciarbonet and the nearby summit of Mount Estelletta are among the most popular destinations for snowshoe hiking enthusiasts, both for the naturalistic beauty of the Unerzio Gorge, and for the charm of the villages that you cross along the way: Chialvetta, Pratorotondo and Viviere, which all have been architecturally renovated. The route of the military road is evident also with the snow and soft hairpin bends reach the col, where the view extends to the peaks of the border with France.
