The climb to Viso Mozzo is a popular destination: it is in fact one of the few easily skiable three-thousanders in the area with settled snow conditions, given the steep slopes. The grandeur of the environment in which the itinerary develops amazes the hiker; after having passed the first part along the beaten tracks, you will pass to a severe, rocky landscape in the shadow of the majestic East face of Monviso. After having conquered the summit and passed the last steep and constant slope, the panoramic view on clear days extends to the Apuan Alps.
