Crissolo (CN)
The icefalls are placed at the bottom of the plain and are easy to spot. The approach is about an hour’s walk across the plain and up the slope leading up to the base. The Left icefall is the easiest one of the three and it is likely to find it formed from November to March. The Central icefall and right icefall are more technical and not always fully formed (East exposure). On the rocky barrier behind the ski lifts, please note Lulu’s tears (III/5), icefall in a quaint dihedral overhanging corner.
