Marmora (CN)
Punta Tempesta and La Piovosa are two classic ski mountaineering tours of Marmora Valley, departing from the characteristic hamlet Tolosano that is the winter limit for vehicle access to Esischie Cols and to Morti/Fauniera. The two peaks can be destinations of distinct itineraries, or linked into a single big loop. Both ascents take place on soft and sunny slopes which are very open and panoramic. The descent from Punta La Piovosa offers a variety of alternatives and soon enters the dense larch wood that reaches the starting point of the excursion.
